Punt op die smeltpuntdiagram van 'n stelsel van twee of meer stowwe wat hul verhoudings aandui as hul 'n eutektiese mengsel vorm, asook die laagste temperatuur (eutektiese temperatuur) waarby die stelsel nog vloeibaar is. Eutekties: (fisiese chemie, metallurgie, mineralogie) - Van 'n mengsel of legering — gekenmerk deur maksimale smeltbaarheid; betreffende 'n eutektikum, of sy samestelling of die temperatuur waarby dit smelt of stol.
