Alpski brak jazavičar je mala rasa lovačkog psa koja lovi pomoću mirisa, a poreklom je iz Austrije. Alpski brak jazavičar je odgajen za gonjenje ranjenog jelena kao i vepra, zeca i lisice. Vrlo je efikasan u praćenju traga čak i nakon što zahladi. Alpski brak jazavičar je vrlo čvrste i snažne telesne građe, a tvrdi se da je Austrija zemlja njegovog porekla.
